What is the rest of your current exhaust system? If it's all stock, then any aftermarket catted mid pipe will get you the "TAD bit louder and deeper" you're looking for. Didn't those old vortechs require to tap the pan for an oil feed? I never liked that idea, personally.. OP- I'd stay bolt ons, suspension, wheels/tires etc. Make it beautiful, fun to drive and sound amazing. You can safely do all those things with your car and not bring on too many headaches...
