Motorcraft – FL-2062 This is the OG, where it all began. Ford replaced this part number with the Motorcraft FL-2062-A. Besides finding one on a dusty shelf, this original filter is no longer available to purchase; except under one interesting circumstance. More on that later. I just happened to find one hiding on the shelf of a random Autozone. I haven’t seen another since. This one has full wrap-around plastic end-caps and what appears to be a cellulose based media. Overall, I would rate this as a superior design than the later FL-2062-A. It’s unfortunate that it’s basically no longer available.
