I'll be bringing the MK IV. With a bit of luck, I'll set the GT car lap record at LS (currently a 1:19) during the visit.

Mine will be yellow - due to be delivered early next year. It's easy to miss the braking into the corkscrew in a fast car without ABS. Better to drive through the sand than put it into the wall.

Mondi. Same guy driving this Lamborghini Super Trofeo EVO nearly as quickly as I was driving my Mustang. Which is to say, about 6 seconds off of an actual fast pace for that car.

I've met Mike a couple of times now at FGT events. If memory serves, Joey Hand and I chased each other around the racetrack with Mike in the passenger seat of Joey's car too, which was quite an experience for him :D

And here I thought I had an exclusive on that SVT sentiment.

I believe it's bored & stroked, and yes, the power output is stout. That MPH at the end of the back straight is nuts, especially for a heavy aero car.

In the MKIV it's an EcoBoost 3.8. I hope to be able to share build pics presently...

I didn't get any for my car - I prefer the standard look. This was just the wheel set which happened to have fresh tires when I did the first 1:59 lap.

Pfft. I've run 1:22s, before the repave, in the 488 Modificata. High teens or bust!

Larry was pretty thrilled, yes. After Daytona we had a gentleman's bet that I would get into the 59s, and it's a bet we're both very happy I won!
