As you can tell from our recent Caption Contests, you really see a lot of wacky stuff at the Woodward Dream Cruise. While we were there to soak up all the great cars, we just kept running into contest-worthy scenes. This time it was a super hero walking the streets and stopping to sign the High Five Tour Shelby GT500.
If you aren’t familiar with the Wounded Warriors Family Support GT500 tour, it is a fundraiser geared toward raising money to build smart homes for two wounded veterans, Staff Sergeant Jason Ross, USMC, and Captain Anthony Simone, USAF, and their families.
During its four-month tour, the 2014 Mustang GT500 traveled over 26,000 miles stopping in 60 cities and 48 states across the United States. Along the way, Col. John Folsom, USMCR accepted donations and allowed people to sign the car to show their support for our returning soldiers. If you are interested in supporting the cause, you can donate here.
Naturally, when the one and only Spiderman approached the car, the super hero was invited to sign alongside the civilians. And, as luck would have it, we were there to score some great photos for our contest.
So post your funny caption in the comments below by midnight on Thursday October 16. We’ll pick our favorite funny and let the winner know when the next contest goes live. The winner will join the cool kids’ club by winning an SVTPerformance.com decal for his or her ride.
