We are certainly pumped about seeing all the modded 2015 Mustangs at this year’s annual festival of automotive modifications, otherwise known as The SEMA Show. However, let’s not forget that the engine that moves Ford Motor Company— the F-150—is no slouch either. For the last four years, the storied truck has hauled home the covered Hottest Truck award from the big show.

In addition to the custom suspension, Vaughn Gittin Jr.’s Street Truck rocks a familiar RTR-style livery and set of Recaro seats.

With a new F-150, Ford will bid to make that five years in a row with a number of modified trucks. However, two notable players are joining the truck team to make an extra push—drifter Vaughn Gittin Jr. and freestyle motocross rider, Brian Deegan.

While we know Vaughn loves to slide around on asphalt, he loves to kick up some dirt too, and his take on the F-150 is designed to do both.

“I love trucks, and to build one that has daily on- and off-road capabilities, as well as drifting and jumping capabilities is something I have always wanted to do,” Vaughn said. “I am really pumped to get crazy in this F-150 at SEMA this year.”

Helping Vaughn get crazy are a host of mods highlighted by a custom Kibbetech suspension. Base on an Air Lift Performance system, this setup is designed to take advantage of the lighter F-150’s low-end grunt.

Taking a decidedly more off-road-centric approach is the Deegan 38 machine. It is modded to the max with gear from Addictive Desert Designs, FOX Racing Shox, Full-Race Motorsports, KC Hilites, Leading Edge Tuning, Mastercraft Safety, Mickey Thompson, ProEFI, Rockford Fosgate, and SCT Performance.

“This F-150 should inspire the vast off-road, extreme-lifestyle-loving fan base to push the possibilities of the kick-ass new 2015 F-150 and the awesome 3.5-liter EcoBoost engine,” Brian said.

It will certainly be fun to check out these and other tricked-out F-150s at The SEMA Show. If you can’t make it, don’t despair. SVTP will be on hand to document all the Ford performance action for you.
