Juggernaut Power offers the nGauge tuner gauge for early OBD-II Fords
By Steve Turner
If you own an older Ford, but one that was born with an OBD-II port, you might be a little jealous of all the S197 and newer Mustangs making use of the spiffy nGauge tuner gauge. Not only does this gauge read and display the data from the PCM like, well, a gauge, but it also offers the ability to store and flash calibrations to the PCM. Now, thanks to Juggernaut Power, owners of earlier Fords can take advantage of the nGauge’s capabilities.
“Juggernaut Power is proud to announce tuning support for HP Tuners nGauge on all EEC-V Fords. This applied to 96-up OBD-II Fords,” Juggernaut Power president Rey Rivera said.
To deploy the nGauge on the earlier Fords, the company relied on a unique software solution from its tuning partners.
“With the tuning expertise of Matt Honeycutt and Eric Brooks, Juggernaut Power is proud to offer this state of the art device to the Terminator, Lightning, and GT500 market, as well as any other EEC-V Fords,” Rey added.
Thanks to this partnership, all OBD-II Fords can now take advantage of all the nGauge has to offer. That includes displaying up to six gauges relaying OBD-II data, recording datalogs to a micro SD card, saving multiple tune files to that same car, and programming its LED lights. Of course the nGauge offers the tuning and diagnostic capabilities we have come to expect from a flash tuner.
The Juggernaut Power nGauge (PN JPTT04) starts at $449 and tuning is priced based on the complexity of your combination.
