Has anyone put one of these twin screw blowers on a Gen 1 lightning? If so...was it a bolt on deal? What were the results?

I don't believe KB made S/C for those trucks, they were a 5.8L not a 5.0

I don't have any personal experience but most people seem to go with vortech.

I put one on my '94. It was a bolt on kit. I built the motor just for this. Different pistons, roller cam, AFR 185 heads, Mass air, and so on. Had it on the dyno but never could get it dialed in right. Sold the kit and truck and got an '02. The Vortec is a better way to go. The tunning options have been worked out.
