New England Lightning & Harley GTG/BBQ/Mod Party

OK, if this doesn't inspire you Lightning & Harley guys to get in that truck and drive it... nothing will.

Paul Albino (Mr12Volt) has graciously offered to open up his shop (Total Induction Tuning Solutions) to the New England Lightning & Harley Community for an all day Mod Party, BBQ/GTG, and Dyno Day. Paul has a beautiful, modern shop located in South Windsor, CT only 10 minutes from exit 44 on I-91. They have a 1500HP DynoJet chassis dyno that will be available, and the pulls are on the house!!! That's an offer few can refuse.

Paul's shop is just North of Hartford, CT and South of Springfield, MA, an easy ride from anywhere in New England although we expect some people from out of the region as well. We've already got people coming from Albany, long Island, Brooklyn, Athol, Rhode Island, Danbury, and even one from Florida who happens to be in New York (without his Lightning).

SO HERE'S THE POOP:

The Event: New England Mod Party & Dyno Day
Where: At Total Induction Tuning Solutions, South Windsor, CT
Date: October 10, 2009 (Saturday)
Time: All Day (Paul will open the shop at 8AM and no dyno pulls after 5:30-6PM)
Food & Refreshments: Probably Hot Dogs, Burgers, Sausage, drinks, chips, and more. Attendees will help out with food.

So if you want to spend a day with all the local gearheads, talk trucks, talk sports, lie to one another, maybe wrench a little, do a mod or two on your vehicle or help out on someone else's... this will be a huge gathering of New England owners who are more than willing to share knowledge and help you do that mod. If you Gen1 gearheads want to see the fastest lightning in CT, Jody's bringing the beast:

There's more information over in Lightning Rodder in the Gen2 Section, so check it out. Paul and his #1 wrench Jim (cbrf150) will be manning the dyno, and we hope to have a killer barbecue/tailgate/mod party going as well. Please let us know if you are planning to attend so we can work on the refreshment aspects. I think we can all contribute something in that area since Paul is being so hospitable with this great facility.

If you are within 150 miles of of Hartford, CT... you have to come!

A fellow Lightning owner is taking orders for T-Shirts which look like this:

If you can't make it but want a shirt, go to this link:

We'd really like to see more Gen1's and Harleys, so jump in the truck Saturday and come have a good time.
