5.0 A6 3.15 times??

Looking to drop the hammer on a automatic 5.0. I see most of the guys swap the rear gear to a 3.73 or a 4.10 for racing purposes, how fast have some of you guys gotten with bolt one and kept the factory ratio

Best run 11.76 118 mph......cai,tune, mt tire. This was done on cold weather.You will go faster with a converter changed than a gears changed.....

I'm going to do a converter when I get ready to add forced induction. I seen where americanmuscle added 4.10s and a boss intake with a stock converter and ran good numbers

These are all good times but from a N/A aspect 8th mile mostly what times are most people seeing high to mid 7's??

These auto's don't need that steep of a gear. Some of the fastest N/A guys are running stock or 3.31's if I remember correctly.

Totally stock and factory tune I went 12.85
Roush TVS, AED tune, DR's & skinnys and minor suspension work 10.35@ 134 , Full weight with spare/jack in trunk

In my 2014 I went 12.60 with only a tune and that was with less than 100 miles on the car. I haven't been back to the track since CAI, O/R-H and some sticky tires.

Depends what track you race at. You can go to Cecil and rune 11.7 @ 118 with tune and DR's. Ran 12.8 @ 110 stock, 12.5 @ 113 tune, 12.2 @ 116 with tune and DR's.

Depends on who's tune you are running. What is it shifting at? Most set it at 7K but have found the sweet spot at 7300.

Really 7300. I thought on stock mani 7000 was good. These engines do love rpm though...I have a Swanson local tuner in Los Angeles and a bbr email tune
