Maybe I'm just not motivated enough but I have had my truck in the autotrader for 2 weeks, with just two phone calls, its been on here for about 2 months, 3 phone calls, and 6 from me just parking it somewhere with the sign on it, and although the calls have been alot more frequent more recently, i am wondering, what am I doing wrong?
I'm not in a rush to sell the truck, however itd be nice to get it gone to pay off some other bills. I have it listed for $21500 on here, and actually listed it for $20995 on Autotrader, just to see if that made a difference.
Am I asking to much? Is there something wrong with it? Does anyone want to buy it? Just time for me to move on, thanks for the input.

Be patient the right buyer will come along eventually. I had my cobra on autotrader for about 4 weeks with only a few calls. I was about to give up and a kid came and looked at it, and put a deposit down without even a test drive.
KBB says 17775? in my area these trucks are all listed for $21995-$23995.
I use Galves and NADA, what the dealers use, NADA lists it for $21800, and Galves $21700 retail. $17775 maybe on trade in. A friend of mine just sold his 78k mile 2001 for $16500, had it listed for 3 days with 8 calls, so if mine is worth only $1200 more than his, something is not right.
I'll just keep waiting, i just wanted to know if i was doing something wrong, but I guess not, we'll see.
i think thats most of the problem these days. People are whoring the trucks out left and right. They wait one week and then drop the price a grand, wait another week and drop it another 1500 etc..... No one has any patiences. I know from experience that the market around MA for them is slow. I saw in another thread that your family owns a Ford dealership......why isnt it on the lot??

From what I have seen my price is right on, if not low, most feel that an unmodded, unraced truck, with low (really low in my case) miles is worth a bit more money.
I dont have the truck on the lot because we do mostly commercial vehicles, and dont have the traffic for this type of vehicle, besides its my own personal vehicle, and i do it on my own when i can. I want to make the $$.
just be patient as everyone else has said. I had a 04 L with 19k miles on it that i listed for 26,500. Everyone said too high, had it in autotrader, got a few phone calls but nothing much. Waited about 5 weeks maybe a little longer, listed on ebay twice, never went about 20k for it there. I was just patient...had a guy call me up and said he wanted to take a look at it. We meet up so he could see it and drive it...put a 50% down payment right then in cash. Brought the rest the next day to me. You just have to be patient, the right buyer will come along. That price is right on with what you should be asking.
