I'd bet some money that that small holes that's still there won't effect the cfm's at all. Or cause any noticable turbulance. I'll plug the holes if that's what you guys want though. Just look at the turbulance I've already taken out. Don't be to picky lol.
I just did a complete EGR delete on a Cobra plugging the hole and it didn't show a thing hp/tq wise on the dyno. With it in or out. Nothing. That hole was .743" too. Not a few .125" ones.

haha every lil bit helps man!!! good luck man maybe one day ill send you the LOLvo intake to be done
OH wow one person said that "Unless you have ported heads and cams it's not worth the effort" on the internet that must make it a fact. Also did he ever say that the truck its going on is or isn't getting ported heads and cams?
I am sorry but I'm not even going to read it. I'm removing something that is a clear obstruction in the airflows path. It's not like it's a small obstruction either it's huge where it is located. Plus there's 8 of them total.
Maybe it won't add 20 hp but I can tell you I'm cutting them off whenever I port one of these. They're useless.
Please don't take it the wrong way ViciousJay and thanks for researching it and posting the link.
That thread is also concerning the lower intake being ported not the midplate. I dont see how it could hurt anything. The midplate port just allows a smoother airflow into the intake. The intake being ported without a head port causes the air to flow into the walls of the smaller head runners.

Well got to work on it some more finally today. This is not finished and I only cleaned it up a little to take a few pictures. I got some more work to do on the case.
So please don't critique me to much because it will look better. I had to spend about 20 minutes on it to just get it picture worthy.
I've done a few Eatons, they're A LOT of work. I had trouble selling them due to SV complaints. If you search my threads you should find some pics. Good luck with them!!
Thanks guys and the lead ins for the inlet should be more than usual for ported blowers. At least I'm spending a lot of time there. Some work on the roof also. Plus the inlet itself is larger than the C&L plenum. These are easier it seems than the Cobra's to port.
Fade 2 Black I searched and didn't see any threads on your ports.
Man you guys are a tough crowd. I thought this would get more posts.
Do I have to do something to help pique your alls interests? I might not sell it but I can go ahead and go a little overboard. I got some ideas cooking if you all want to see them. I guarantee nobody has seen what I am thinking. So far the intercooler bolt boss's are gone and the cutting going into the bores is huge which isn't done yet.
I've ported a couple Eaton's myself, and plenty of throttle bodies, plennums, heads and lower intakes..... It's not that hard at all, but one thing I see that may be a problem for you, will be getting those shavings out of the needle bearings in the back of the case.... You should tape that stuff off before you start.
