so here's my new pickup truck hope you guys like they dont have a f-150 section.. but i figured most stuff is the same..
just picke it up about a week ago hope you guys like.
1998 ROUSH f-150 5.4 SOHC auto just rolled 74K clean title
mods are as follow's
-vortech intercooled on 7lbs of boost
-bbk TB
-gibson shorties
-4.10 gears with posi
-25oo stall
-shift kit
-brembo big brakes with rear disc upgrade
-MTX thunder box 10" subs and alpine deck
wanted to do some more mods maybe blow-thru setup with front mount intercooler and upgraded fuel system, e-fan and new cat back with maybe some cut outs and lower the rear so its level..
also wanted to know what spark plugs you guys think I should use..? trying to give it some basic mantence.. well hope you like..
I like it, not to crazy about the way the blower is set up though, get that intercooler and that should clean it up a bit. Getting that rear evened out is a must and maybe losing all the red elbows and tubing on the blower and replacing them with black pieces. As for plugs i've got NGK TR6's in my L and thats basically what all the guys around here bank on.

I like it, i had a vortech on mine before i went built and did the eaton swap. It was a fun setup. Made 380ish if i remember right on 10psi and water/meth on a mild tune. Mine was a 8 rib setup yours looks like a 6 but i could be wrong.

nice yeah i was thinking about doing a water/meth kit some time down the line
and yeah its only 6 rib.. i dont really want to run a lot of boost as i drive the truck most the time. I was hoping I could make around 400ish to the rear wheels. once its tuned better..

I'm not saying it can't be done but you are going to have to run a good amount of boost to hit 400 with a 98. 98 is non pi heads, I had a 01 5.4 in mine. I had a lot of fun with my vortech.
