Thats funny, no where did we ever say worlds fastest 2V ,here is our quote:
"The springs that come std. in the TFS heads are 90 lbs psi at valve closed, this is more than sufficient for most blower motors up to 25 psi , in fact we used the comp 90psi Springs on what has now known to be the worlds fastest 2V mustang , heres a pic below of the car:"
The only statement about worlds fastest 2 V is on our website "Modular Mustang Racing" and the picture that we posted which is from a MUSTANG website!
We also never said that our customers Lighning is a 2V, we just said here is the MMR powered lightning!
But if we are really going to compare JL also forgot to mention nitrous LOL, which that is kind of important since the JL truck is no where near as fast as the mustang (which has actually run 8.30's) without nitrous, so who has the fastest 2 V single power adder (no nitrous) ? Looks like still MMR! Dont hate, its just a fact! And the Mustang did it @ 3650 lbs and on a 10" tire , the lightning is on a much larger tire and similar weight (if not lighter) and a larger motor.
Our point, if we are really going to start comparing lets at least be honest and compare apples to apples. And if Johnny ever wants to line up his fastest Modular with ours we would be happy to oblige!

its pretty bad when me of all people have to point out that johnny only said his 2v was faster... where did the 4v talk come from?
Clearly the 4V talk came from just you, we never mentioned anything about a 4V, we just said here is our MMR powered Lighning????????
Like we said earlier, we can compare 2V to 2V but twin turbo and nitrous 5.4 against a single turbo, no nitrous 5.0 stroker at the same weight and smaller tire, come on!

im not putting down MMR in anyway 8's is fast no matter how far into the 8's it is... everyone is saying Johnny is getting owned. and i dont see why, the MMR lightning is a 4v TT truck and johnnys was a 2vtt and i dont think he was running nitrous at the time. but i could be wrong.

No big deal, We were just saying if we are going to compare lets be fair, no hard feelings!

I was wondering where the 4v talk came from too.... I'd love to see MMR line up against JLP.... While JLs running fast times blowing shit up, his customers are left to fend for themselves after his half-ass work. Sorry to get off track here, but MMR deserves some credit in all aspects of the business.
i would gladly take quality and someone to stand behind there work then shotty workmanship. just look at the jlp cold air intake box, it was all tacked together and cheap looking and way over priced. i just want to see the race!

even thats pushing the apples to apples thing... ones got a full tube chassis build by one of the best in skinny kid
the other has a tubular front end ,back halfed for the 4 link and has stock frame rails under the steel cab
anyways back to the build!
We get your point but we mean comparing the 2V to the 2V. turbos to turbo, 5.4 to 5.0, tire to tire, and Nitrous to no nitrous. -Not a good comparison, I am sure you agree!
gotcha, found your build ticket, we should have you ready to go late next week! thank you for your patience!
thank you! you guys are the best. well keep seeing each other, planning a lot of future mods! And ill definitely put an MMR sticker on my truck, its well deserved.
