I have an Vermillion Red 04 with a slight rake to it. I purchased some BBK hangers that claimed would lower it 2". NOT! So here is the question, what is the easiest way to go about making it even? I looked into changing the hanger, which a local shop will swap for about $600 not including because the bed must be removed, not including the $200 for the hanger. JLP has a shackle that supposedly lowers the rear bumper a full 3" not to mention that it would be easier to install in the shade tree mechanic home garage. What are your opinions on the best aproach?
I say do the JLP's and take out the helper leaf. You'd get about 4" and then see if your level or if you need to lower the front about an inch or so. I think these trucks (03/04) need at least a 1/4, at least! They don't look sporty or mean at all when their sitting like a 4x4

I can have the hangers off in half an hour, but the drive up here would kill your budget. If you have access to a torch, cut the neads of the rivits off and knock th rest out with an air hammer.
