engine dies

I have a 2000 Lightning and the past week it has been cutting off going to work in the morning when its a little cool out side. in the after noon it runs fine started after i cleaned my air filter K&N. (i changed fuel filter cleaned idle air control valve. finally threw a code that advance couldn't read? help

Damn that code is key man. Humm in the morning, on cold start does it smell like gas or anything? Did u mess with the maf?

just had it looked at by a ford tech and the code was because it cut off twice in a row. Today i took the throttle body back off and cleaned it pretty good. blew the maf out with blowing "mouth". so i guess i'll have to wait until tomorrow. (possible bad out of context there).

Okay I took the maf off last night and cleaned it with maf cleaner. This morning same thing 4 to 5 mile away from my house getting into town and it cut off when I got to a 30 mph zone. Crank up and rode ruff again. But made it to destination gas breaking it.

U might be runing lean, or that MAF might be going bad.
