We wanted to get back to the track before they close so Friday night I installed the metco track link. I noticed Thursday after the third run the truck was falling off so I checked the logs and the IAT2 temps and they where high. I installed a new pump and that fixed that. Now for the good stuff. We went to Ware Shoals because they prep the track pretty good. We went 8.2@84 mph. The track was really hooking well. I’m really happy with the Snake Bite blower. Now it’s time for a pulley change to see if the SB will fall off up top. I might put a 2.80 upper and a BA2600 maf on her this week. I’m also removing the 300lb cover off the bed, spare tire and hitch. Maybe we can get in the 7’s with just an upper pulley before the tracks close this week.
