I'm gonna put it like this and correct me where I'm wrong... The older S281SCs were rated at 365, and when the s281-E debuted, it was rated at 425. The same year that Roush upgraded from a 360R to a 380R, Saleen boosted the SC up 10 HP to 375... and 20 on the E model at 445 hp. I've read numerous columns and articles and posts about the 360R, even though rated at less than earlier SCs, putting down more on the dyno. The one I recall had the 360R puttin down 336 rwhp, and the 365 hp SC making 327 rwhp... As far the E- cars go, my buddy has an 02 E-model, he bought it used so I don't know what was done to it, it's not pullied and has stock exhaust. But with it running lean (not too good on that pricey car) but it made 392 rwhp and 393 lb.-ft. And I am wanting to say that it had a 4.5 inch upped pulley but, I'm not sure. I know for a fact it was at least a 4 inch pulley. We tell him someone put his dukie wheel on his blower... LOL . But since I just gave my 2 cents, I'M BROKE!!! So later fellas!!!
