Are you going with the original power steering or converting to rack and pinion? The original is the worst feeling, worst driving steering you can ask for. It is totally numb! I had an S-code '69 Mach 1 and took the PS off after a few months of driving. If you want easier steering stay with the manual box, if you want quicker ratios, get the PS box, but just use the manual linkages. I left the PS box and while sitting still the steering was HEAVY, but moving it was tolerable.
