I think i came off a lil dickish on that comment. Props to you not wanting it that way though...my 93 i picked up had an offroad hpipe and NO mufflers when i got it...didnt even have it legal and i had to throw mufflers on it..all it does is sit in the driveway lol
As far as Pypes exhaust systems go....UGH IMHO...i think they went the SLP loudmouth route and made it just very loud and noisy and didnt care about the bulk of thier mufflers sounding good.
