Getting the tire pressure right is essential for a good launch. There needs to be just the right amount of controlled wheel spin. If not it will bog (not enough pressure) and et will suffer. If it spins too much (too much pressure), it is self explanitory that the 60 ft and et will suffer.



I beg to differ, but maybe I'm a rare case. First time to the track on street tires I couldn't pull better than a 2.2 60' and 13.3@110. But hey it was fun.

Next time out I went 12.3@110 with a 1.7 60'. Same mods except on the 2nd outing I was on ET Streets slicks. Stock pulley, intake and exhaust. I agree with jomo though it could very well be track differences plus I did that on a 100 DA day.
