W/ the factory tune once it gets above a certain temp, the motor pulls ridiculous timing. Making the car a dog.
The K&N or any CAI kit for that matter is a negligible upgrade on the car as the stock intake is actually pretty decent. There are a few companys (Vararam) that are making some pretty stout intakes for the car now. The LTs require a tune to be worth anything.
Your boy in the GTO doesn't know the car, so obviously he's going to get embarrassed.
