You have helped in creating enough interest on this topic that many people who would otherwise not spend a lot of time reading the other site are now doing so to your detriment. In the internet world where perception is more important than the actual facts, whatever they may be, in a situation like this the best response is no response. Committed amazon customers are not going to be swayed by what is said on the other site, the product and customer service is what will keep them as customers. However, potential new internet customers are not likely to "roll the dice" with all the mud slinging that is going on, they are not going to concern themselves with who facts are the most correct, because they have no basis to assess the credibility of those facts, so the safe thing to do is to avoid the potential of getting screwed by selecting another vendor.
I have no significant affiliation with either site and I have no experience with either vendor, but I can tell you that if the average joe Ford guy thinks like I believe they do, the potential harm to your company by continuing this public feud is substantially greater then the likelihood that you will convince the average joe reader of this, and the other site, that the people commenting on the other site are just crazy lunatics with no basis for claims they are making against your respective companies.

This is exactly what I was trying to say earlier, albeit in a condensed version. If you have nothing to hide, nothing to cover up, nothing to prove... there is no need for a rebuttal like this here. This isn't a court of law; you are not on trial here. Your reputation will speak for itself and take care of you. The existing, happy ATS customers aren't going anywhere. BUT you have now taken a defensive position and no matter what your original intentions were, potential customers will draw their own 'internet based' conclusions about ATS without ever even giving you guys a fair chance. Perception IS everything. I'll say this: I don't live anywhere near ATS, never done any business with them. But if I did live relatively close and was reading all this mess, believe me when I say ATS would be the last tuner I would use. Not flaming, just telling the truth. Perception IS everything.
