what's all this talk about your sponsor, you in rehab?
no.... its called advertising dude, everytime i advertise for him and something sells i get free shit for my car, so im always telling people about his company haha.
It looks like a sweet kit no doubt. But I want to see what kind of power capability this kit can support. Also, if it is upgradeable to a twin screw from an 03/04 cobra or not.
Just to clear the air....with the Magnuson Generation 5 Supercharger...the kit was tested by JMS Chip. On an automatic 2000 GT the car made 385.2 rwhp at 5892 RPM and 387.86 ft/lbs of torque. This was at 7 lbs of boost with our revision B split inter cooler. The revision A inter cooler tested on the West coast, made the same power but at more boost, so the new design works MUCH more efficiently. At 2500 RPM it made 357 ft/lbs of torque. Temperature was 74 degrees and 34 % humidity. Timing was at 16 degrees and AFR 11.8/1. Inlet temp was 116 degrees on pass one, 121 on pass 2, 128 on pass 3 and 141 on pass 4. The passes were made without shutting the car off between passes. After the car was removed from the dyno, it was driven for about 5 miles and the inlet temp dropped back to 96 degrees.
If anyone has any questions about the test results please feel free to cal Monty at JMS Chip. As far as the cost of the kit...there is no other kit that is as complete as this one, inter cooler, heat exchanger, injectors, fuel pump, 8 rib pulley system, reservoir, pump, chip, MAF, MAF adapter, K&N filter, a 63 x 130 single blade throttle body, and an interchangeable crank pulley. To change boost levels, remove 3 bolts and go to a larger crank pulley.
We are currently looking at doing an adapter plate for the 03-04 Cobra but it will take time and some re design. Having said that Magnuson test results showed that the old 03-04 Cobra blower made 40-50 HP less than the new Generation 5.
As I said, JMS Chip would be very happy to share his test results and Dyno sheets. Monte feels that once he continues his testing and starts cranking in some boost, 500 rwhp is not out of the question with NO other upgrades other than GOOD internals.

"You should be able to squeeze somewhere between 350 and 400 rwhp. Enough to hurt the stock bottom if you're not careful. The Tork Tech unit though, uses a Magnuson Gen V blower with Eaton rotors. It's a different unit all together than the the M112's even though it looks similar. The Eaton M112's won't bolt up to the manifold, so you're back to a proprietary blower. However, dollar for dollar it's still a good price for sure.
My thoughts though are to tap into all of these take off Cobra Eatons that are floating around, and then have something that's scaleable with someone when they can go through the bottom end (IE, switch to a Whipple or KB without having to "re-buy" everything)..."
whoever wrote that up is false, because i have seen our setup and it is indeed an 03 cobra supercharger on it, you should see the kits up in a week or 2 with the 03 cobra supercharger on it.

when we were talking we did not talk about using the magnuson charger. We specifically talked about how well the car would do with the eaton m112 off the cobra.

Dude do some research the eaton m112 is a magnuson blower.
