Question Fuel Question

Hi all. Relatively new to SVTP but not new to forums nor SVT's (on my 2nd now).

Can honestly say I know little about fuel and what all will be required on my car (which is mostly stock 99 Cobra right now) when I install my Vortech V-2 this winter.

I've got the OE MAF and injectors from a friend's '04 Cobra ready to install; but what type of fuel pump am I going to need?

FYI, I'm going conservative, with aspirations of 400-450whp; so by no means do I need to spend a great deal of money on a fuel system capable of supporting 800hp per se, so any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

He's upgrading to a Whipple. Being roommates, taking all his stuff off and putting them on my car is a snatch. But he's keeping his stock tank. Would his stock fuel pump and hat, etc, work in my tank?

You could probably keep your stock pump/s (not sure if 99's have dual pumps) and put a boost-a-pump on there and be fine with the 39# injectors and MAF to reach the 400hp mark. Could always do a walboro or SVT Focus pump/s.

Awesome thanks all. Didn't really want to spend the added $$ to get a new fuel tank for this project.

Walbro 255lph pumps are cheap, I figure that'd probably to the trick. Are they plug n play, does anyone know? i.e., take out my pump, pop in the Walbro (and boost a pump if it's needed) and good to go?
