UDP + Turbo = ???

Here is a good question for you boost experts out there. Would aftermarket underdrive pulleys have an adverse effect on a turbo application like they do on a supercharger application?

My guess is probably "no", since turbos are not belt driven.

Anyone care to educate me on this?

Ah, so no adverse effects with a turbo application then. That's good news. I hear they "free up" some HP up from the engine.

your best bet is just to leave the stock pulleys on. it wont make any difference once you start pushing decent boost. engine load spools turbos

no adverse effects on turbo setups. the only reason people don't like to use them for supercharger setups is because when you change the crank pulley size it will affect the supercharger spin rate.
