question for the people that actually own (or have owned) a b-head KB

I still maintain this is the best route for me, even at low PSI. Because I'll never race and just want a fun streetcar/daily.

My question is, this set up not having a bypass or cooler, do the IAT's reach harmful levels even when you're driving normally? Long roadtrips at 80 mph? Sitting in traffic jams?

That's about the only concern I still have.

regular driving- no problems- sitting in traffic- you might overheat but I'm talking about mid summer traffic jams. I had the 2.1 with meth inj, JLT, 160* tstat and custom radiator

I've never had any overheating issues and in summer in traffic jams car will get a little hotter than normal but nothing out of the ordinary.
