Thanks to the hard work and creativity of Marv from C and M Performance, the car came to life tonight! (thanks Buddy!)
Tomorrow it gets the dyno treatment and hopefully I can get it out of Marv's hair on Saturday so he doesn't have to look at it anymore. I'm starting to test Marv's patience I think!
It looks good and sounds good! Can't wait to drive it!

Unhappy with your IRS?
FIX IT!!
The car looks great, I can't wait to see some action videos.
Is it sponsored by Miller High Life? I noticed some cans and empty cases in the background.

At this point in this project, the Miller products are mandatory for my sanity
I see the race required blow-by system, but what is that oiling system going into the front of the valve covers? Is it dry or wet sump?
I assume the pulley on the right is for power steering? Nice looking block and engine. Be sure and post up some more pictures when you pick up the car. When is its first test session?

Doc:
The additional oil lines in the valve covers are for the valve train. It's a wet sump.
Pulley on the driver's side is power steering.
It's going to Auto-Bahn in seven days!!

It will be a while before I get to VIR with his car!
Some of you may have heard about this, but for those of you that haven't, Marv's employee Jonathan was killed in a motorcycle accident on Friday night. Our thoughts and prayers are with his family at this difficult time.
I've already told Marv I will start prepping the Shelby for the event as he has much more important issues to deal with now.
Well, the car finally left the friendly confines of C&M Performance on Wednesday night. There may be a few people that possibly left their graves in neighboring cemeteries that night. Holy crap! I already ordered mufflers for the car!
Power was choked down quite a bit from the exhaust system we were forced to use. Which is ok. It's going to take me a while to re-learn how to drive all over again! In the not too distant future I will be taking the car in for custom 1-7/8" LT's with a custom boomtube side exit exhaust. Not sure if I can make that happen or not this Summer. We'll see.
The car makes more HP than my R. I'm guessing the exhaust is choking the power down about 50 hp. Possibly more if that's even possible? The car should be 2,900# with my fat butt in it and full of fuel. Which aint bad for a Mustang. I'll be scaling the car possibly next week.
I signed up to instruct at the Windy City BMW event at Gingerman at the end of the month to shake the car down. Instructors have the track all day Friday so I should have some quality time to get used to the car. Marv says I'm going to hate the clutch!
My Steeda rear wing should be coming from Rehagen pretty soon. I think I will need that for RA in August.
I already know Mike is going to kick my ass but I'm OK with a C6-R kicking my ass in a lowly Mustang!
Wow, They will intermediate ANY Corvette. Cant wait to see this car in action! That el show all those Mustang haters who's boss! Cant wait for the vids.
