95 R hood?

Have a chance to buy an original R hood.Asked if the part number was there and it was conformed.this hood is still in white.No paint or anything.What would be to expensive for it?STan

They are still available from Ford Racing for mid $400s + freight. That should give you enough info to decide if it is worth it.

The part # should be on the front edge.

Does the Motorsport hood carry the F5VZ number or the R58 number.i heard that HO fibertrends redesigned the mold so it is not the same underneath.I really would like to hear from someone who has the motorsports hood to verify and who makes the motorsport hood HO Fibertrends?Stan

I can tell you back in '97 when I bought a 95R hood for my 95 Cobra that the one sold through ford motorsport had a F5 part number on it. I paid $550 for it at the time.
