Wondering what the going price would be on my 93 cobra r in wrapper with 86 original miles? Still with grease pencil, etc, etc. Right off assembly plant floor.
Thanks.

Didn't Robert sell his for quite a bit more? I know it was a few yrs. ago, but still, 850 miles? Come on, it's got to be worth 10-20K more than that. If it was mine, I'd be starting at 80-90K first , then if I had to, back up.

You potential buyers probably didn't want my $.02 again.

I have to get some updated pics asap. Just wondering what the going price would be. There can only be a couple of wrapper Cobra R's with 86 miles left in the world being Ford only made 103.

Actually it was 107, 100 original cars and 7 lawsuit cars.

I sold mine when the market was better (2008) for $70K. Mine had 458 miles on it, but all stickers and mark-all's were still in place. My guess is that this 86 mile car "could" still be this range?, even in this current market, depending upon the buyer.......

There are more of these 93R's still in wrappers that most would think. With only 100 originally planned for the build, collectors snapped them up quickly.

My mistake. My 93 Cobra R is # 103 out of 107. A lawsuit car which, in my opinion, separates itself from the original 100 and adds more nostalgia.

"I tried to buy #103 in 2000 from the original owner Rick Salvo. At the time the car had 62 miles, and had been sitting on jackstands since 1993. Even then a true time capsule. He wanted 35K for it, I offered 27K. He ended up selling it a few years later for around 26K - 27K. The car did not have the snake emblems on the fenders and was never dealer prepped. The emblems were in the glove box."

Are you the second owner?

Yes I purchased from Rick Salvo, from Littleton Co, in 2002 for 24k. I had at the time 2 Cobra R's, other one had 1200 miles with mods and not as clean as my 103. Thinking back I never should have sold. Anyway. #103 has been stored same fashion as she was with Rick.

Well, I'm sure you can get more than you paid for it if that's any help. :p

Rob - Does your #103 not have the convert. X-bracing shown in the picture below? Two bars attach at the K-member and go to the radiator core support, the other two bars attach at the K and go to the left and right rocker panel area as they would on a FOX convert.

I've seen quite a few in the past year or 2 with little to no miles.

I was impressed with that 2000 R that was on ebay and literally still had the wrapper on.

Yes the front has the X sub-frame cross bracing. What does that mean?

It appears that there is some mis-information about the 101-107's not having the convert. rocker area for convert. X-brace attachment. If your #103 has a convert. X-brace in place, and attached at the right and left rocker, it has the same convert. set up as #001-100.

There was/is also mis-information that the 95R got the 94/95 Mustang convert. X-brace, it did not.
