2001 Cobra for sale locally is it a good deal

Is this a good deal? I found a 2001 charcoal grey cobra with 80xxx miles on it. The owner says it has a short throw shifter, new tires, new clutch, and a rebuilt tranny that was done last year. He said the rims are painted black and interior is in good shape. The weird thing is that he's only asking $6000 for it.

That seems way too low for an 01 with only 80k. Make sure it wasnt hit and the title is clear. If so, then good for you! For reference, I paid 5k for a super clean 96 Cobra with 102k about 3 months ago and I thought that was a really good deal compared to what was out there.

Well he said it has a clear title but to me its since fishy. I paid 3000 for a 96 cobra that my uncle sold me but 6000 for a 01. Another weird thing is that he said the car was in the shop for a brake job and it won't be out til Tuesday is what he said.
