Well, I'm at 59 days according to my calculations. So we'll see. I'm wondering if anyone has gotten their money as I wasn't the first one to jump on this, so some people have gone past 60 days. This was a big determing factor going with the 555r's over regular tires.
Mine has been over 60 days.. but on the 60th it kept trying to send it but paypal rejected it? Ive got this message 4 times..
"We've encounterd a problem depositing your cashback reward into the PayPal account that you used for your eBay purchase. But we will keep trying."

I want to reiterate that this offer was through live.com (Microsoft) not Discount Tire Direct. We came across this offer like any other consumer and figured we would share what we found with our fellow members. If you guys have any problems with your cashback return, I would suggest contacting live.com.

Thank you for the information. The widest tire that is approved for an 8" wide wheel is a 255/45-17. Nitto does not currently make the 555R Drag Radial in this size. The next size up from the 245s is the 275/40-17 which is recommended for a 9" to 11" wide wheel. I would recommend sticking with the 245/45-17s if you do not want to upgrade your wheels.

Just noticed, that Live.com didn't have my paypal address. Click on Settings, then Rewards method, see if there is a paypal address. I just added mine. Hopefully something happens soon, as it "failed" three times so far.

^^ Same here, I changed my paypal addy in the options but after 2 days and 3 failures it didnt try again. Contacted live.com and they said to contact paypal to make sure I could recieve funds ( not sure why, im a premier account with a ton of positives.. ) and if I could recieve funds to email live.com again and they would see what the problem was...

mine has not changed either. could it be due to the Microsoft money issues? Has anyone besides 06GT gotten their cashback, or is live.com giving you the run around? Problems with Paypal not accepting, WTF!

I understand your position, however it was a thread you posted, not a consumer, which did benefit tire sales for Discount tire direct. If it were a Goodyear rebate and Goodyear was giving BS reasons why the rebate wasn't sent, would you blow us off and state take it up with Goodyear? Since DTD is an advertiser on live.com cashback and pays to be apart of this program, putting pressure on them may be beneficial to those of us being told our paypal account is the problem.

We understand that this is a little hard to understand because of the way ebay is set up. It would seem like we set up something with live.com for the cash back offer but we did not. We may work with them directly in the future but we did not set up anything with live.com or ebay for this offer.
To understand this you have to grasp that ebay is a company/business. Not unlike Target or Amazon.
eBay is a company. eBay inc. is the official name. eBay inc. is the one that set up an agreement with live.com to offer cashback offers for ebay purchases and they set it up independently of any seller on ebay. I assume this was eBays efforts to get more people to purchase ebay products and live.com's efforts to get more people to use their search engine. The offer was good for any ebay purchase that qualified within their terms and conditions. With that said we have no control and or influence over ebay.com or live.com to give you your cashback. Ebay is the one that needs to submit your purchase to live.com not the store or seller within ebay that supplied the product. From what I have seen, they have held good on their offer and cashback program. The reason they wait 60 days is to make sure you don't return the product.
This is different than a manufacturers rebate set up directly with us. If there was a manufactures rebate that required us to submit something for your rebate we would surely support helping you 100%.
