Stock or CenterForce Dual-Friction

I need a new clutch. Mine still holds okay but the TOB chirping is driving me nuts and I do get the occasional slip.

Im putting down about 460whp with plans to get a stage5 ported blower this summer.

The CF Dual will cost me about 100$ more than the stock replacement. Thing is, I really like the feeling of the stock clutch. Im looking for opinions on pedal feeling on the Dual-Friction vs stock..

thanks.

I had the Centerforce DFX, the six puck and it wasn't real street friendly and from what I heard, none of their other clutches although they grab good, are good for daily driving either. I plan on getting a Spec 3 clutch next, this video has some good info.

I had a spec stage 2 on my saleen and i loved that, very street friendly, and grabbed hard, but you would need the stage 3 on there i imagine that its not to far off the the feeling of the stage 2, or look up the stage 2's torque rating, i think its either a 450 or 600 torque rating.

I watched the video and was sold on the clutch too. Dont buy the bull at the end about the smoth engagement. The pedal is much lighter than stock and shifting is a bit better but this is still a very agressive clutch. You cant expect to install a clutch that is rated at 800fptq and be a street daily driver set up. I have about 1500 miles on a spec stage 3+ clutch. At first the chatter was very bad but got better during the break in perion. Now that ive learned how to drive it i can get it rolling without any chatter but you have to be easy on the clutch pedal. This is a on/off clutch that doesnt like to slip. Im running about 450rwhp and 480rwtq and this clutch holds it great. Ive heard that a twin disk would be better for a daily driver. If you go with stock replacement with your numbers the clutch will not hold up depending on how you drive.
