i have the option of going with a ported eaton and nitrous, or going with a kb 2.2 i was wondering because the numbers on ported eaton cars arnt too far off of 2.2 kb numbers, so i was wondering wich you think i should go for thanks for your opinion
If you have the extra cash for the KB then go that route. If you're on a smaller budget then the ported/spray route will save you some cash and make similar power.

New numbers one day.......
6.9 @102 Eaton
11.00 @ 127 Eaton
6.88 @ 104 Best 1/8...Ported Eaton/50 shot N2O
10.71 @ 133 Best 1/4...Ported Eaton/50 shot N2O

Exactly. There is certainly a financial aspect to this. And since the 2.2 KB hasn't been manufactured for 2 years now, we need to be talking about a used twin screw which is not always the best risk.
^No it nevers gets old. I went with a kb 2.2 got a great deal and it was recently rebuilt with the new snout. Look around for a deal. The sound alone is worth the price.

I was tossing this around too and I decided when I do it I will be going with the KB. I like the idea of having the power all the time.

stock eaton and stock pulleys with a wet shot of nitrous works for me. Low 11s on a 75 shot and over 20 miles per gallon is pretty nice
