Bypassing Heater Core

My heater core went out and I wanted to just bypass it for now. Anyone done this? If so where did you get the connectors to do it being it has those clip on hoses.

And yes I will eventually get a new heater core and put it in, lol.

Im pretty sure you just make a "jumper" for the in and out lines:shrug: Have fun replacing that thing, if you need any advice i can try to help you out. I replaced mine a while back.

Yea with the clamp style I can't just jump it easily. Got a way to rig it up for now. It's just gotta last 4 days of work then it's off to the shop to get replaced. Screw that I'm not doing it! Thanks though

Still can't believe a heater core went out on this thing at 42,000 miles.

Thats about the same exact time mine went out. You should post up how much labor they are gonna charge, if you dont mind. Im just really curious to see cause I have been told that its very expensive, but never had an estimate.
