Kenne Bell 2.4 Info/Help

Just wanted to talk to and hear about people who run or ran a 2.4.
Im in the works of getting one and I wanted to hear peoples pros and cons about them.

I know a bunch of people with the 2.2 but very few people have I seen with a 2.4.

what kind of numbers are you seeing with them and at how much boost.
Any problems with them, like oil leaks and what not.

No problems with mine.... Car makes 628 rwhp on 17lbs and pump gas and 663 rwhp on 19lbs and 109!!

just make sure you get the coolant cross over tube if not it is a pain in the ass. Other then that i am happy with mine.

Damn you made 628 with pump gas on 17lbs with a 2.4l???? How much timing? WTF Those are some STOUT numbers bro.

It has stage 3 cams, headers, return fuel system ect,ect. Not sure on the timing but KenB fron Md tuned the car for 93 pump. Car traps 131-135mph on pump depending on the weather..Car pulls HARD all the way to 7000 rpm

Im sure Im - a little boost due to the cams and headers?? 3.2 upper 2lb lower...

Blacksvt2003, I sure miss my little silver beast, looks like its still running strong!! I LOVE the way the Cams sound in that thing, glad MD got them lined out, they sound damn dirty!

Whats up B??? Yea I need to take it back one more time for a little tweek but its much better now!!!

I still dont get to drive it much (just turned 20k). Ken said its def one of the best running cobras he has driven. I wonder if they did any head work when they did the cams??? It just seems to run better than most?????

No head work, just cams, retainers, and springs. My buddy Jon has a whipple with similar mods, no cams thats making 633rw on pump gas, (also on a MD tune) but My old car on street tires(compared to his slicks) has still trapped a few mph faster than his. You every gonna swap a SRA in there, and put something other than the road race springs in it?? =) here is the ole car beating a every mod gt500 by a considerable amount, granny shifting and being lazy on the gas =) It still ran a 11.0's at 131-132 in 90 degree heat, on those BFG's

I am actually headed over to look at a 2003 vert in a bit (25th anniversary car) but its a measly 488rw car. Dont know if I need "quite" that much power anymore...wait yes I do! =)

I dont plan on doing anything to it any time soon.. The county just pulled ALL my ot so no extra funds for the car untill feb.. My plans are a serious diet(wheels,seats and straight axle) and some dif springs!!! I want some 10.30s at 138+ trap speeds (on the good gas)???
