Are you just going to add E85, or are you going to get an additional tune as are, or are going to take advantage of the 105 octane and add boost and timing to your current setup. On a stock MACH 1 then gained like 30rwhp. So I would think FI car would gain alot more.
Please keep us update cause I want to go this route also.
ill post up the sheets when it happens, i have to drain all the gas out monday and tuesday is when im tuning it. Anyone happen to know were the fuel pump fuse is? So i can just ground the pump to get the gas out? I dont have a owner manual lol

There really isn't a way to drain the tank like that. Unless you jump the actual power wires going to the pumps to the battery.
Either that or have your tuner make you a tune to drain the tank. I made my own tune to do this. There is a parameter in the SCT Software exactly for this.
If I were to do this would I ONLY need to add 80# injectors and a tune? I have read that the e85 is corrosive...is there anything else necessary?
- 80lb injectors
- Ford GT pumps
- Fore (GT pump) fuel hat
- Aeroquip -8AN line w/ a high flow fuel filter
- 40amp BAP
- Dual FPDM or Stage II FPDM from MJ Chip
- one badass tune with lots of timing

If your pumps flow enough, then thats all you will need. The myth about E85 being corrosive is just that, a myth.

It depends on how you want to set up your fuel system. There are many ways to upgrade your fuel system.

what all is required to go e85 ?
All that is reqired is more volume of fuel (ie. fuel pumps/injectors) and retune.
It should pick up nicely with an Eaton.

The link that Kevin posted is the only solid thread I've seen with full results on E85 with a Cobra. Regardless its impressive to say the least. I've been really thinking of picking up some upgraded pumps/injectors/etc and seeing what some more timing would do for my Eaton combo.

That is Eriks car. I was able to coax him into E85 and now he is happy he made the switch to say the least. LOL..
I would have some dyno results as well, but my clutch would not make it. As soon as I put a clutch in, I will dyno it. Erik helped me datalog it while tuning it and he feels it is comparable to his car.

You'll love the TQ and HP of the TS! Nothing like it IMO. Especially when you can take advantage of higher boost levels and timing with the E85!
i went to the dyno last night and tryed to get a tune on e85, my twin focus's with a BAP couldnt support enough fuel. At 4k rpms fuel pressure droped and went lean, so i think i have to upgrade fuel pumps, what would oyu all recommend? twin gt pumps? how much hp would htat support, i have stock lines/ fuel rail/ 80lb injectors/ kb BAP. could i just upgrade fuel pumps and be ok? Im wanting to make 600+ through the auto with 23 lbs through the whipple

What was your BAP set to? It should be @ 50.
I would recommend at least Twin GT Pumps, Fore Hat, -8 line to the rails. That with the BAP @ 50 should get you there.

What was your FPDC?
i dont know on the bap, my tuner said it looked like it was wired into the computer, twin gt pumps ok, fore hat wahts that actually do, i know there high, do i have to have one of those even with the gt pumps fitting with stock bracket? I didnt ask him what the duty cycle was, we did 2 pulls and seen taht the fuel pressure was dropping from like 50lbs to 20lbs
Probably also because you didn't have a big enough feed line, like sleeper said you need to have at least a -8 line (1/2"). I would like to know too if you could get away without having the Fore hat, just having the twin GT pumps in the factory hat.
