Just wanted to say thanks to the guys at Evolution for the awesome quality of the Stage 2 kit and especially the tune for my GT500. The car drives mint, makes great power, and the tune was spot on! I am very happy, thank you EVO!
The kit came in less than 2 weeks after ordering it, which I thought was very reasonable for regular ground shipping.
Looks like I will be ordering one of your new T-Shirts now!

I've heard great things about the EVOperformance setups! Threads like these only make me want it more. Unfortunately money doesn't grow as fast as my desire to spend it so I'll be waiting a while longer. I plan on doing at least a stage 2 myself...more than likely a stage 3. However I did have a couple of questions:
1. Are the mail-out tunes from Jon Lund tuning?
2. How close to 100% will these tunes get in terms of HP gains?

Not sure what you mean by 'how close to 100% will these tunes get in terms of HP gains?' but I can tell you that after datalogging the car I can't see any reason to change the tune at all. I was expecting to have to, like maybe there was power left on the table, but EVO's tunes seem pretty aggressive. Which is what you want if you want power. The A/F on my car was dead steady at 11.9 up top which is awesome!
That's pretty much what I meant: 100% being the most HP you can get safely from the car.
A lot of mail-in tunes are on the conservative side because every car is different and most tuners don't want to lean the car out and blow it up. So they make them a little on the rich side.

I actually considered the stage 3 strongly before I ended up with the stage 2, but eventually I know I will put on a twin screw so why spend the extra money on the lower pulley is what I figured. The difference IMO from 530 ish rwhp to 570 ish rwhp isn't that much SOTP, compared to jumping up to 625+ with a decent blower. Save your dough for that.
