What is this i hear about the mustangs in gville meet up at hooters on thursdays? This true or b.s.? Because I go to that plaza everynight after work and i damn sure dont see no 'stangs there.

I have no clue. Maybe.. im gonna go read back in my newbie thread and find out. Thursday nights in gainesville are "street racing" night though, i just always thought eveyone met at Target.
GMCA meets at Gainesville Hooters on Thursdays 8 pm
Gator Muscle Car Association meets most Thursdays at the Gville Hooters (near Archer Road at 34th Street). GMCA has several Mustangs but is open to all makes/models. One of the main guys has an 11 sec Lightning AND a newer GTO. There's a couple of Cobras, a couple Vettes, occcasionally some Mopars, a good mix of classic and newer muscle depending on who shows up that night.
They have very informal meetings, no dues, just show up and hang out with guys who like cars. We do a couple of benefit shows a year, and usually do a couple of cruises a year also.

Hey i was right! Well listen, i dont see how this is possible. I mean .. what time is it normally? That parking lot is always packed full of cars.. i dont see how a meet would fit. Someone needs to tell me when this is going down so i can hangout .. like i said, i go to that plaza every day expect weekends after work. And i get off at 7, get on 75 and get off on Archer.. So lettta sista know! Lol.

I have heard of this hooters meet as well, not sure id take my v6 stang up there with all the big boys anyways. The other meet on Thursday nights is always filled up with a bunch of Hondas street racing. I tend to stray away from that crowd now. Looking for a decent place to meet though.

Haha your taking about where all the litlle ricers meet up at the Target parking lot. I walked over to that crows once, did a walk around and then i immeditely got in my car and left.

Yeah, they meet in the empty Wendys parking lot now. Some stupid shit goes on there.
We usually meet in the parking lot around 7:30 pm, talk for 20 minutes or so, then go inside for some wings, etc. We park the cars near the back of the parking lot (see the map below). Don't expect to see 20 cars at a weekly meet, prob more like 6 or 8 depending on who comes out on a particular Thursday.

Sorry for any confusion guys & gals, apparently the meet was moved from Hooter's to Woody's BBQ on NW 43rd St. (Right after I posted the map to Hooter's !! ) The venue will change from time to time and will usually be noted at the GMCA webpage...HOWEVER...
