Now comes the hard part: somehow setting up the suspension and finding traction and control for this monster lol

This is the same car that was featured in the 200 MPH shootout in the Car and Driver of Feb this year. These cars are amazing and the suspension outside of adjusters is pretty much dialed in from Ford day 1.
Great job Torrie and Jason.... I hear road results are forthcoming... Have fun with her Ray!

I realize there are a few variances between the GT motor and the GT500 motor, but would a similar setup on a GT500 yield similar numbers?

Yes and being that the block is cast iron it could take more of a beating.

Your wrong the gt block by far is superior of the gt500 block. Do a gt block and a set of ported heads, cams, rods, pistons, in a gt500 and you could make the same power or close to it with a factory blower and twin turbos.
Great job guys.

I agree, almost certain it's 99.9% the same head except for a slight firewall clearance issue that req'd a very slight shape at the edge.

Subscribing for info:
Stock blower or Whipple 3.3?
Boost blower is pullied for?
Total boost compounded?
Spec's on turbos? (e.g. compressor wheel inducer size, turbine inlet size, turbine A/R)?
Full draw through MAF? (meaning air is pulled through MAF by both turbos and supercharger)?
50/50 draw through/blow through MAF? (meaning Turbos blow through MAF, and supercharger draws through MAF)?
Motor mods?
Alot of questions, but should detail things out pretty well! Hopefully we can get our hands on the answers!
Ken

No they don't, they're identical right down to the Ford GT stamped into the side of the castings.

Are the cams slightly different from GT to GT500?
