Saturday and Sunday, September 5 & 6, 2009
The Falmouth Dream Cruise by the Sea and Car Show Weekend
promises to be a spirited event with plenty of activities for everyone to enjoy.
The scenic seaside town of Falmouth on Cape Cod will play host to this two day event with multiple car shows scheduled for Saturday September 5
and a 20 mile scenic dream cruise for Sunday September 6.

After the cruise, join with your friends at Shoreway Acres Resort Inn for an authentic New England Lobster Bake! September 6, 3-5 PM. Rain Or Shine!
Call 1-800-352-7100
or
email classiccars@falmouthdreamcruise.com
for information or to reserve your place at the table!

The car shows will be divided by category and will all be located within a mile of the town center at 3 separate venues.

Venue 1 Around the Village Green: World War II and before vehicles up to 1950, Hot Rods of the period and Elegant Cars will be showcased in the village green area. This exemplifies a golden bygone era of fabulous cars and beautiful historic homes each of which, on their own, are worth the visit.

Venue 2 Lawrence School: American, Muscle, British, European and Japanese 1951 and up. Two seat sport cars & all performance Coupes/Sedans. This group showcases exotic cars, the fast and the furious, and the ones only a few can own, but you can dream.

Venue 3 Falmouth Public Library Lawn: Cars shown by invitation only, Falmouth Classic Car Club, Cape Cod Corvette Club, Cape Cod Mustang Club, Cape Cod British Car Club, N.E. Ferrari Club, Cape Cod Classic Car Club, and other selected individuals.

The Sunday Cruise will take place on a twenty mile scenic route through the Village Center and along beautiful ocean front roads offering spectacular views of Martha’s Vineyard, miles of pristine beaches, scenic harbors and beautiful private homes. The cruise will run between 12:00 noon and 3:00 pm and is an “at will” event which will allow participants to stop along the route to relax and watch other cars drive by.

These non judging events are free of charge and designed for the enjoyment of your family and the glory of your car. All clubs and individuals possessing cars that fit into these categories are welcome and encouraged to participate. Please register in advance in order to receive a goodie bag, dash plaque and great spot! Although there is room for over one thousand cars, it is important to know about your car in advance.
