You have my info already (#2626). I'm really interested to see how many are RIP.
I was told by the sales manager at Hillside Ford when I picked up my car in May '93 that 2 of the Cobras they had delivered that spring were already totalled. They were sold to a guy that gave them to his two teenage sons. The manager knew they were wrecked because the guy came back to see if he could buy 2 more to replace them!
I wonder how many others didn't see their 1st birthday, nmuch less the 10th.
A friend of mine had one stole a while back all they found was the hull, I'll try and get the vin for it as well. Also another guy I know has 2 in his junk yard I will try to get the vin off them as well.
You might see if Mustang Parts Specialist (MPS) will give you the vin info on the totalled 93 Cobras that they have parted out over the last few years. Might also try some of the other mustang salvage yards such as Dave's in NM, Delk in TN, All Mustang in AZ, etc....
I see a lot of Cobra's come through the insurance auctions I deal with. Only problem is they will not give you the last 6 digits of the vin # until you buy the car due to the "privacy act". At one time I had a thread on scoa.org with an ongoing list of wrecked cobra's.... giving a description of damage and options on them but I could not provide complete vin#s.

I mentioned this same thing last summer, but I didn't have a webpage to back it up :-) Great start!
So, i have a bunch of pages i've saved off of ebay for a while (when i had aspirations to start a registry). I had also contacted Bob Lyons of SCOA, and at the time he wasn't interested (had been burned by SVT and others). But if you really get things rolling he may change his mind...
Anyhow, I too have the misfortune of being able to add to the list of "dead" '93 cobras. You can find it on SCOA.org in the members registry. Includes a before and after pic (taken about 2 weeks apart).
So pm me if you would like the ebay info I have saved (about 20 cars worth). Includes VINs and pics, as well as lists of mods and mileage. I leave it up to your discretion whether to post that info or not.

I find it funny what you said about Bob Lyons. When I called SVT to ask them for build numbers and build dates (no vin or owner info) they told me I should contact him. They almost agreed to do it but after being put on hold for 5 minutes, they came back and said no.
I'll get that info one way or another. I'm not really interested in the VIN's too much but more the color combos, build dates and buid numbers.
