It was a fat automatic but it still clicked off 14.8 at 1200ft alt. I think it was one of the best looking of most SHO's Iv'e seen. Of course, I'm a bit bias
Dude you freakin' rock... not only does your Gen III SHO look BADASS with the exhaust tips hangin out and the black Gen III wheels, but (I see in your sig) I've wondered what a Gen 1 or 2 would look like w/ Gen 3 wheels cuz for some reason I could never picture it in my mind... I like what I see! And I LOOVOEEEDDD the intake vid... I saw a vid where someone put the camera in their engine bay for a V6 SHO and it sound freakin' amazing, so I was kicking myself for not doing that w/ my Gen 3 before I sold it... so now I have piece of mind cuz I know how it sounds. Which... it sounds just... unworldly. Like hell on wheels man. B)
Plus I have plans to get a Gen 1 to run 13's someday... it's on my list
And yes... that video does NOT do the unbolted exhaust vid any justice... seriously all you gen 3 owners, you NEED to do that...I'm serious, it should be federal law that all 96-99 Taurus SHO owners unbolt their exhaust at least once and drive it around. I can't even describe the sound...
Jason, do us all a favor and clean your engine before posting pics of it...
Actually, I'll be making it spotless in a month for All Ford Day... Hoping to win my 3rd, 1st place trophy in the last 4 years for the '74 and up class (I didn't make it last year).
