I live in Ellabell and work in Richmondhill. Lived here about two and a half years. The area is OK. Not thrilled about it. The dragstrip problem def sucks. The closest one for me is savannah river and I do not like it. I go to carolina most of the time. And Ive been to dorchester. I like both of them but there 2 hrs away.

I hear ya on that. Last one I went to was Rincon, and well, that was a while ago. lol. I would love to hit the drag strip when I get back. I will post up when it gets closer to me coming home.
Yeah Im down for whatever, I just went to the strip in carolina 2 weeks ago. I was actually going to go tonight but didnt feel like it. We could always do a cruise out to the becah or something one weekend. Or go downtown. Nothing like a train of mustangs going down congress street during the summer when there seems to be like a billion people out. RYAN be careful and thanks for your service. Cant wait to see that car when you get back.

ive heard of that club in hinesville (RPM). sure would be an awsome ride to all get together and go to carolina dragway especially with some of the nice days we have had lately!

They just did that. I went there to. I had my chevelle. My lightning is down right now. met a few of them. Preaty nice people. They are talking about going again soon.
I used to be a part of RPM. Good bunch of guys, but a lot have come and gone and due to the deployment, there is no one around, lol. I am down for whatever fella's. A cruise, drag strip, whatever. I need an excuse to grenade my stock GT rear end.

We never had a track in Rincon. Used to be an 1/8 mile in Savannah, but closed down a couple years ago. We try to make a monthly trip up to Jackson. I think we are planning to go back up there Apr 5, should be first Sat in April

No track in Rincon??? When I went I remember getting off at the exit that said Rincon. I am confused. Is or was there one real close by that could have been considered that?
Only one drag strip I know of...off Hwy 17 but got closed down two years ago. Area has grown up around it and govt considered it a nuisance. There is a race track- Roebling Road Course in the Rincon area. It is quite a track but you have to be SCCA to get access. The car magazines, state police, etc use that course for testing..
I must admit, except for the occasional Lightning, I have seen very few 03-04 Cobras and I have yet to see a Shelby..Always looking for fellow SVTs around here.
There are like four 03 cobras in savannah. I always see them when Im riding around not in my car. But there are plenty of performance cars around. we usually meet up on saturday nights.
Yea I get Rincon and Hinesville mixed up sometimes. The track I was talking about was on the county line between Liberty and Long. and hwy 84. It was called L&L. There is a track now on hwy 21. They call the dirt track next to it Sylvania. but its really in Newington. The dragstrip is called Savannah river. I dont really like it because of the dirt track ,but it's all we have somewhat close. But that is right down the road from Rincon. That might be what Ryan was talking about.

They usually meet up behind chilis on abercorn around 9:30 ish. its give or take with the crowd and the import domestic mix. Just iff the top of my head here are the breakdown of cars I have seen:
4 Black 03 cobras
2 Redfire 03 cobra
1 mystichrome 04 cobra
1 white 03 cobra
1 torch red 04 cobra
3 black sn-95 cobra
2 bright atlantic blue sn-95 cobras
2 crystal white sn-95 cobra
1 pacific green sn-95 cobra
Im working on both of my toys right now, but as soon as I get one of them back up I'll stop by the place. Thats a lot of mustangs. I dont think I have seen that many 03/04 cobras in one place. I dont think I saw that many at f/f at Atlanta Dragway last year.
