SHELBY SUPER SNAKE RUNS 10.87/134.1 ON 93 OCTANE
The Feb,’09 issue of Muscle Mustangs & Fast Fords features a drag strip test on the 725 HP Super Snake. Great story. They also street test the car. It ran a 10.87/134.1 almost identical to Kenne Bell Super Snake times.. The only addition was slicks for traction. Otherwise 100% stock as it comes from Shelby. The Super Snake is powered by a Kenne Bell Mammoth 2.8H Kit at 725HP. It is clearly the “Most Powerful Production Muscle Car” ever. Editor and test driver Evan Smith said “It takes around 800 engine HP to turn 134mph in the 1/4 mile” And yep, there’s another 100HP left in it with a 2 ˝ pulley and race gas.
With a little suspension work these “Snakes” can run 9's! That’s hard to top at any price!
