This truck has never been involved in any kind of wreck or accident... Truck is very, very clean. The interior is completely stock with no wear issues on anything. Suede is excellent with no stains and the leather on the steering wheel has no issues.
This truck is one of 1130 True Blue trucks made. 2002 was the only year for this color.

Brief history on my ownership of this truck... it has always been used as a weekend crusier.
I bought my first Lightning back in 1999 - it was red and was a closeout sale at the dealer. I loved that truck and drove it every single day for three years - even in the winter. When I had bought the truck, I had said that if there was a dark blue ever offered, I would buy that instead. So, in 2002, when the true blue came out, I wanted one. I got my red truck sold to someone in Florida, and then bought the 2002 Lightning from Williams Ford in Berea, OH on Thanksgiving 2002. The truck was driven for a little while to make sure that things were OK and then it went into storage for a bit. I drove it mainly in the summer months and used it to have fun on the weekends. The picture that you see the bag of ice on the intake was the spring of 2003 at a track rental. I was curious what it ran stock, and to be honest, I don't even remember that number. So, I began to want some more modifications so that I could have something quicker than what my 99 was. Over the years, it has accumulated a single blade throttlebody, AirForce One cold air intake, oil breather cap, 6lb lower pulley, Goodyear gatorback belt that fits that combo, tune for this combo from Mike Troyer at Troyer Performance (was also on a dyno to verify the air fuel ratio was in the proper spot), NGK TR6 spark plugs that are the right heat range for this boost level, JDM Silver Bullet exhaust (basically Magnaflow Magnapacks), and a Factory Tech valve body for the transmission, plus the 4x4 deep transmission pan/gasket. On the exterior, the truck is all stock - no stripes or anything. The truck has the Ford factory bed cover with no rips or tears and is not curling up at the back corners. The bed has a bedrug in it and has never hauled anything in it. The truck is lowered a bit with BellTech springs in the front and JLP adjustable 2"/3"/4" rear shackles. The truck has never ever had any paint work done to it, and it only had one rock chip that I touched up (touch up paint brush)... and to my surprise actually looks really nice. That came when I was driving and someone in the oncoming lane slammed on their brakes and something flew out of their pickup bed and skipped off the front of the hood. Whatever it was, was big enough to put a small chip, and that is what I fixed myself. This truck has a clean carfax and has no history of any event. The front bumper has two holes in it from where the dealer had a front plate mounted. I removed it myself before leaving the dealership. I have used Cherry Wet Wax on this truck religiously and that is the only wax that I have seen that can bring out the deepness of this blue... it is my favorite color that Ford offered. The oil has always been changed yearly (since I did not put enough miles on it in a whole year) with Mobil 1 synthetic oil. The stock tires and wheels are in good shape. I have had this truck down the track somewhere around 20 times in its life and it is an absolute blast to drive. The best time that I have pulled with it is a 12.28 @ 113 or 115. The truck ran two Fun Ford weekends - one in Bristol, TN and the other at Norwalk Raceway in northwest OH. The truck was trailered in an enclosed trailer down to Bristol and that was one of the best trips I ever had. As the truck sits now, it is started at least once a month to warm up and keep things moving... it doesn't really go out on the road much though. The truck is in great shape and has been well taken care of. I hate that others don't take this kind of care of their vehicles. I see so many used vehicles these days that are roached. I also see a ton of used Lightnings that have completely distorted front bumpers from running into curbs and things. That is a reason that I prefer to buy new and take the hit for depreciation. I have a stack of paperwork that I can give to the new owner and includes window sticker, dealer brochure, dealer license plate bracket... I have all kinds of stuff.
