wow, 200. this is awesome. how many does MCT have?
They have 123. The MCT is a great club and has been a good role model for us. We're now up to 143 Terminators now.......
Unfortunately, we're going to have to remove a few members here in next couple of months. We've had 11 fellas sell their Cobras which is a requirement for membership Once a year has passed and they are no longer involved in any way with the club, we probably should remove them from membership later this summer.
Welcome to all new MACA members numbers 81 thru 200! This is great! While I don't get to vistit due to the distance, I'm still proud to be associated with this. I really enjoy reading about all the great stuff you do...I PROMISE THIS SUMMER I'LL MAKE A GTG!!!!
IronTerp, please don't remove us because we're not activly involved...distance is the first thing, and secondly, I'm just about finished collecting the goodie parts, and when I do finish, all will be installed at once and then a tune...perhaps at least then I'll be able to keep up (although not as quick) with you Terminator Guys!
Again Great Job and congrats to all that have helped make the MACA what it is today: AWESOME!

Huge member # 80 of MACA
That is pretty cool Who were the first 4 original members???
The first time any of the members of the MACA met together was back in late-May/early-June (can't remember offhand, I have it written down somewhere) of 2004 at a Park-N-Ride in Severna Park, MD. I say it like that because there were only 4 of us (not that it really matters, but it was RAWSN8K, MP3_Stang, mmars and myself) at that one and we had no thoughts of a club at that point. However, then 17 Cobras showed up for the next Cruise/GTG and 34 at the following GTG at MIR.
It was somewhere between the 2nd or 3rd event that we decided we wanted to become a club. Dwight (IronTerp) and myself decided that we would spearhead the "becoming official" initiative and start organizing our ideas and implementing them (events, logos, etc). It wasn't until at least the 4th GTG that we "officially" became the Mid-Atlantic Cobra Association (possibly even later, depending on your definition)...
Just a VERY brief (pre-)history of the MACA for this great milestone

Absolutely not Brad!!! Everybody participates in the MACA to a level that they're comfortable with. Some like the GTG's, some like to communicate through our Forum and then some members just enjoy reading the MACA Forum.
It's just that once one of us sells their snake and then stops participating, one way or another, with the club, then we probably should edit the membership roster.......

Haha, I just used to drive A LOT. I was averaging about 2,700 miles a month.....I hit 36,000 miles in 13 months. Now I'm no where near that at all, closer to about 1,400 I think.
Jay- I haven't been down in DE too much as of lately. I may be down there this Friday or Saturday night though, not sure yet. Are you out much?
I've been out the last two weekends since I got my new clutch put in. Just not a lot of people hanging out around here that are worth talking to. I've seen Curt once or twice (in my truck) and Jen said she saw Santa the other day on her way home from work. Other than that, it seems a little thin around here lately.

Yeah, it is definitely dead around here. I think the weather has alot to do with it to. Kind of why I am not out EVERY weekend.....I go out and see the same damn roads and scenery over and over and no one is out. Gets boring. Me, Curt, and Jim were actually talking about this not too long ago. We were trying to think of new places to go. We may head up to northern NJ one night, supposedly there is a big car scene up there.
