Sorry to hear Greg, but totally understand. You've worked your butt off in the past to make this a great event. I considered not doing a Shootout this year as well.....
Maybe we can do a very "informal" CMC sometime in November???
What?? Why don't you just go ahead and cancel Christmas while you're at it, Grinch...er I mean Greg?
On the other hand, I REALLLLY like Dwight's idea. The cruise has gotten so big that it was impossible to stay together last year and a bunch of us got lost...not to mention all the time it takes to coordinate it. A much smaller bunch with no cookout afterwards shouldn't be too hard to pull off, huh?
If Greg gets too busy, I know a guy that has routes all over that area mapped out. They are the Bull Runs from 6Speed that are becoming legendary in their own rite. I told him just yesterday when I saw him that this was coming up. He was going to do it. Now I will see if he can map it.

This will start over on 6Speed and E90post and I will link back here for those interested. These cruises are not for the Sunday drivers. No red lights, wide open roads for days. I'll post back when thr thread is started.

It was a lot of fun when I went. BUT I almost got in a lot of trouble with the cops. A buddy of mine and I were racing and got really close to getting caught. Ill do it again but not racing on the street anymore.

I talked to Ken last week before he left on vacay and asked if he could head up another before the weather eats up the Fall. Expect another one the last week of Sept. or the first of Oct. Stay tuned. The season isn't over yet!
