I can't, dinner with the wife...she was at the store looking at some salmon in the butchers display when the butcher startled her so she asked for 2lbs of wild salmon...
Neil, I've been thinking lately and when ever you want to swap rears I'll do it, I'll need a couple months lead time to pull togather some parts cause I'll want to throw about $500 or so at the IRS is bushings and braces while its out of the car...and maybe a set of 4.10's...
I've got the IRS brace that re-enforces the diff cover, so if we do do the swap you've got that. I'd kind of want to do the same, new stronger diff cover, upper and lower control arms, battle boxes, etc.
I haven't priced those things out yet so I'm not sure what I'm looking at.
UCA and LCA with poly bushings would run you around $300 for both. A differcover/girdle with the preload bolts is less than $200 the 28 spline axles may not last too long at 570hp so...a 31 spline set up axles/diff/gears/necessary hardware will run about $900...and you will probably never break that rearend...
probably but it'll be slick tonight still, i don't think i'm gonna go, that track is slippery enough in ideal conditions, hell the roads aren't even dry yet here in bellevue. The track will be a nightmare and the parkinglot will be a lake...i might go out there with my bronco and do some mudding...
Just take 72nd street north past Ames Ave and you'll run into it. If you want I can meet you at Quick Trip on 72nd and Fort, let me know what time you want to meet if you do.
