Wow! With a 2.22 60' and an 11.65 1/8", you must have been snatching the hell out of the gears to end up with a 13.8. Good job. Get that 60' down under 2 seconds and you will have a 13.3-13.5 easily.
i think he is leaving a lot out there by not having stickier tires...that trap seems low for the mods, i bet that is because of not being able to use all the power due to sh*tty kumho tires...
It was 11.65 for the 1000... but thanks for the compliment. I was launching at 1500rpm and dealing with wheel hop... so that's why my numbers are so low. I'm ordering bushings tonight... the $500 Nitto DR's will have to wait. I know everyone swears by MM but does anyone recommend Steeda bushings over them?
are they gold or something?? your webpage shows stock wheels, you should be able to get two 275/40-17 nitto DR's for those (yes they fit fine on the stock wheel) for around 350 or so, but certainly less than 500...
just the price from discount tires... hopefully it was for a different size.
$350 seems more reasonable. anyways, i'm going to the track this wed or fri with new bushings and an intake... i'll post the info.

Damn I hate you! Congrats man. To me that is probably the perfect street car. You are really making me kick myself for not doing it your way. But, that's why I hung on to my stock intake, just in case.

Ran her last night for the first time. I expected a little closer to the 12's with the mods. Think I overdrove the car. I have some Steeda UP ready to go in.

Get your 60' to 2.0 or less and you will be in the mid-13's.
No offense, but your mods are a long ways from a 12 second car. I am just trying to help you with realistic expectations. My .02.
'03 Cobra Wheels
Rear Nitto 555DR 315/35/17's too big and too heavy for stock 99/01 power and 4.10s. A 275 drag radial is plenty for you
Front Nitto 555R 275/45/17's too big and too heavy for stock 99/01 power and 4.10s
Richmond 4:10 Gear Set For your power levels, you are going to need a 4.30 or 4.56
Baer Brakes/Hawk Pads
Lowering Springs depending on the springs, you are not getting weight transfer to the rear of the car
Bilstein Rear Shocks
Ford Racing Alum Dr Shaft reduces some rotating mass, but is worth only a smidgeon in the 1/4
BBK X-Pipe this, your catback and your filter are your only power mods. You have probably only added 15-20hp to the stock setup, maybe less
Bassani Catback w/ 4" tips
Steeda TriAx Shifter
Steeda Clutch Quadrant
Firewall Cable Adjuster
K&N Filter
Cobra Grill Emblem
Relocated Wing 3" to back
Note to self: Stop looking at the timeslips and comparing mph to your recent time slip. Yes, the car is 12.8 capable, but you don't drag race anymore. Stop it. Go look at porn for a while. No, stop thinking you should go back down to zMAX to get a better timeslip. You don't have anything to prove. You have a road course class points chase to worry about. Sorry about that. Having an argument with myself. Carry on....

You know that is going to bug the crap out of you until you go back and get your 12.8. Borrow some slicks from Donnie and go back.
