Very uneven pad wear on fronts... 01 Cobra

Hey guys. Just got through replacing brakes all the way around on my 01 Cobra.
Just something very strange on the fronts. These were powerslot slotted rotors with Hawk HPS pads on them.

Pretty much on the front, both outboard pads (opposite side as piston) were worn completely down to metal, while the inboard pads
(piston side) looked ok and probably had about half wear on them. The rotors on front were worn completely down in some areas deeper
than the slots. First thing that came to mind was a stuck caliper. However both, at the same time? When I put the Hawks on, the stock
original pads were worn very evenly also. Any ideas?

might have been an installation mistake causing both calipers to stick. If a piston gets stuck, the pad will wear at an angle (on a dual piston, like ours) If a caliper gets stuck, it will wear one pad evenly down more than the other.

I believe it's from the dual piston pbr's. Mine are similar. I think multi (4,6) piston setups give better stopping AND even wear.
